At the Conference, delegates will have the chance to explore important issues including heritage protection under the Queensland Heritage Act 1992, the protection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural heritage, the challenges of maintaining heritage values amidst the extent of urban change we are experiencing now and into the future, climate resilience and the impact of natural hazards on heritage protection and management, as well as the evolution of heritage protection systems and the future of the heritage protection in Queensland.
