REMINDER - THREE WEEKS LEFT TO APPLY - Central Queensland Bushfires Flexible Funding Grants Round 2

A second round of grants of up to $150,000 each is now available to help Central Queensland communities further recover from the 2018 Central Queensland Bushfires, thanks to a $4.9 million Round Two recovery package being jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments.

Queensland-based community groups, local councils, non-government organisations, peak & industry groups, research bodies and for-profit organisations delivering to the disaster-declared local government areas of

  • Banana
  • Bundaberg
  • Central Highlands
  • Gladstone
  • Isaac
  • Livingstone
  • Mackay
  • Rockhampton  

are encouraged to apply for either or both small grants (between $2,500 and $50,000) or large grants (between $50,001 and $150,000) to support events, activities and programs that drive community recovery activities, increase awareness and build local resilience.

Recipients of Central Queensland Bushfires - Round One grants and new applicants are encouraged to apply.

The Funding Information Paper (October 2019 v0.2) is available to assist you to determine if groups are eligible, and how to submit an application.

Applications close 2pm, Tuesday 5 November 2019.
