Final Agenda

It is at the LGAQ Annual Conference that all Queensland councils come together once a year to debate issues of importance to local communities.

Held annually in October, our Annual Conference provides an important opportunity for councils to not only network and learn but also to debate and vote on new policy. The event doubles as the Association's AGM.

This is our signature and largest yearly event - bringing together Federal, State and local government, external stakeholders and media. Additionally, a significant contingent of industry suppliers comprise a large trade exhibition to show-off their latest offerings to the sector's leaders from across the state.

The Annual Conference consists of two and a half days of full plenary, split plenary and workshop sessions where participants will immerse themselves in the challenges facing local government and their communities.
