Queensland Partnership Group is a joint venture between the LGAQ and United Customer Management Solutions Pty Ltd that supports councils seeking to transform their customer service capabilities. QPG has strengths in the emerging area of Shared Services. QPG partners with local governments to modernise business operations, freeing up resources to focus on core business activities that will service the needs of the community.
Through a range of truly participative programs QPG can assist councils with objectives such as:
Determining the real cost of customer services delivery and back office processes; Analysing outcomes from interactions between a council and its customers; Scoping of new customer service and business process challenges; and Design, implementation and operation of new front and back office services.
Customer contact centres, rates and accounts processing, payroll, human resources, development applications and document management are just some of the functional areas where QPG’s programs will have application where QPG can provide specialist support.
QPG signed a $100m+ agreement with the City of Ipswich in late 2007 that will see QPG and the council work in partnership to achieve new standards of customer service.
