State Government to blame for water prices

Southeast Queensland residents can expect high water bills to continue, and the State Government's bulk water charges are chiefly to blame, according to a high level report commissioned by the Local Government Association of Queensland. The AECgroup report found that by 2017, bulk water charges levied by the State Government will make up nearly two-thirds of the overall water bill for the region's households.
