You may be working closely with young people in your community and not know how to include young people of migrant or refugee backgrounds.  You may not know who is in your multicultural community or how young people from culturally diverse groups might experience growing up in Queensland.

You may have come up against a racist incident and not been sure how to proceed or you might just want to know how to work more effectively with young people of different cultures.   You might also be aware of intergenerational conflict or conflict between groups of young people in your community.

You may be aware that there are young people in your community doing it tough because they are not being included in the services provided for everyone.  You might want to know how to develop appropriate policies and plans. We won’t be able to provide all the answers but hopefully this guide will be a start ….
