A strategic review of the Office of the Queensland Ombudsman will allow councils to have their say in its effectiveness and operation.
The Ombudsman Act 2001 provides for periods of strategic reviews of the Office, examining all structural and operational aspects of the Ombudsman, as well as its relationship with public sector entities.
What to know
- A 2017 review report of the Office of the Ombudsman can be found here
- The committee is inviting submissions from the public
- The LGAQ will submit and is looking for council input and feedback
